This past March 29, 2010 25+ family and friends gathered in Shawnee, KS to Celebrate the life of Thais Cramer.
The service was officiated by Rev Fred Thorp. Pastor Fred gave a message that focused on the life of Thais and how she lived out Gods call for every Christian.
For example, a friend from Dodge when hearing about Thais and her diagnoses of cancer, wrote a note relating how because of Thais she re-dedicated her life to Christ and to this day she still carries the New Testament that Thais gave her over 20 years ago.
Thais' friend changed as a result of Thais sharing about Jesus. Now that is COOL.
For me the passing of a loved one and hearing about their life brings forth all kinds of thoughts:
- Christians leaving a legacy?
- The inspiration I experience at hearing what others have done and how it motivates me to attend more to how I impact others around me.
- Ones interactions with others really does make a difference.
- Personal observation for personal growth.
Also, I realize there are privileges afforded a Christian that no other person has:
- Share Christ in the hopes that others will find Christ.
- Opportunity to serve the living Creator each and every day.
- Opportunity to live a God honoring life.
- The privilege of Reconciliation.
Thank you Thais for your life.
